Future of Aerospace between Apulia and Israel

An important step between Apulia and Israel to facilitate research, innovation and the Grottaglie airport as a testbed for new technologies and services. Aerospace will be the ‘fil rouge’ of Apulia Israel Joint Accelerator, an initiative of open innovation in collaboration between the Politecnico of Bari and the Technion di Haifa – Israel Institute of Technology, that will take place next monday 25 february at the Politecnico. The Apulian Aerospace Cluster (DTA) will join this event with 4 of iits members (Planetek, Sitael, Enginsoft e Dema) and will give an overview of the Grottaglie test bed project including

– future activities for testing, validating and demonstrating flying assets such as RPAS

– Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) opportunities to allow industry to test its systems safely and support research and development
