In February 2026, the TERRITORY partnership began organizing Local Stakeholder Engagement Workshops in the four pilot areas: Taranto, Bar, Pescolanciano, and Scutari/Shkodër.

The workshops represent a key step in directly involving local stakeholders in defining needs and in the preliminary validation of operational scenarios related to fires, floods, and hydrogeological risk.

Main Objectives:

Collect local needs and critical issues in emergency management.

Analyze risk scenarios useful for developing the project’s technological solutions.

Strengthen local and cross-border cooperation between institutions, technical bodies, communities, and emergency workers.

The workshops will be aimed at:

local, regional, and national authorities, research institutions and universities, schools and training centers, hospitals and health services, associations, citizens, and cross-border entities.

Between February and March, the following will be defined:

the dates and locations of the workshops in the four regions;

information materials and participatory activities;

methods for gathering stakeholder input.

All participants will receive a dedicated communication with the agenda and operational instructions.
