composite aerospace structures

The project “MASTCO – Specialist in innovative technologies for low-cost manufacturing of composite aerospace structures” aims to contribute, like similar initiatives of the Technological Aerospace District (DTA), to the development of computational design in the structural field and, in general, the engineering skills of the aerospace industry. The initiative matches with one of the most important theme that dta develops “PROJECT AND TECHNOLOGIES FOR THE PRODUCTION OF COMPOSITE STRUCTURES “
 

These theme is related to the vocation and specialization of the industrial aerospace production, and plants, located in Apulia Region. In these Region is today concentrated the highest production of the Italian production structures and aviation parts made ​​of composite materials.

 

The skills that the participants in the training will be able to acquire concerne the problems of research and development that will be addressed in the  research project  MASTCO – Composite Materials and Structures for light aircraft and UAVs, which aims to develop, in compliance with the certification requirements and quality of aviation regulations, composite components for ultralight aircraft and UAVs at a competitive cost in the relevant markets.
