CALLIOPE
Casa dell’innovazione per il One Health
The project aims to define a successful model to accelerate the process of diffusion of innovation from the most innovative companies to local businesses. The main aim of the project is the creation of a structure that can deliver translational research results in the One Health field and disseminate them both in terms of training and public communication, exploiting the support of emerging IoT and 5G technologies.
The main activity of the DTA concerns the definition of a One Health monitoring architecture using aerospace technologies (UAS, EO) for the city of Taranto. Drones can be focal to gain knowledge of environmental conditions using electro-optical, infrared, multispectral, or other sensors provided by the CALLIOPE partnership.
The project aims to define:
One Health Intelligence Lab for monitoring and advanced predictive processing of human, animal and environmental health and their impact on biodiversity
Innovation Technology Hub for the creation of prototypes of 5G-connected smart devices for ‘near field’ monitoring of One Health domains
Dissemination and Training Hub, a knowledge transfer and industrial incubation support facility for the budding of high TRL spin-offs.
The DTA aims to develop knowledge and solutions for experimental aerial environmental monitoring services for the purpose of One Health. The data and information acquired from drones will populate an information system
